“Impact Assessment reveals the applicability of a mission. It works well as a tool for communication. There are no set methods, thus it is difficult and thrilling. But everyone ought to possess these qualities: honesty, openness, and transparency.

The beneficiary is the key focus. It’s crucial to be adaptable when addressing their requirements. IA is feasible if we are prepared to accept change since at PSU, we study collectively,” Dr. Chua said.

The said event capacitated the participants about the technical aspects of the impact assessments on the first day through the conduct of lectures revolving project impact assessment, discussion on scope and timing, crafting of framework for IA, and establishing criteria of projects for IA.

The second day of the event featured workshops and presentations of the participants’ outputs.
Dr. Armando D. Junio, Director for Extension Services along with other esteemed faculty members, were among the attendees from PSU at the training-workshop.

The event was participated in by the academic institutions in Region 1 from private and public sector and the local government units (LGUs).
