For almost five decades now, Pangasinan State University has been delivering quality education and excellent service to the community. On its 46th year of operation, PSUnians staged several activities starting with a simultaneous Thanksgiving Mass across all its nine campuses to bring back all the glory and praises to the Almighty God.
In the Main Campus, Rev. Fr. Joseph T. Fernandez presided over the Mass held at the DTNB Convention Hall on July 1, 2025 attended by Catholic faithfuls.
As Fr. Fernandez congratulated PSU for providing quality tertiary learning to the countryside, he also emphasized the importance of values-laden education and spiritual well-being.
He acknowledged that PSU produces professionals, he added however, that ranks or titles would be meaningless if the character of a person is not upright. Molding students and employees into God-pleasing beings is a formula to success, he said.
University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, in his message to the PSUnians, thanked the Lord God for the numerous successes and bountiful blessings He bestowed to the institution and its employees, students and stakeholders.
Meanwhile, university and campus officials led the teaching and non-teaching employees in their respective campuses for the thanksgiving mass.
