Developing a cohesive and efficient team, the Pangasinan State University Open University Systems (OUS) conducted its two-day Faculty and Staff Development and Team Building Cum – 2023 OUS Planning with the theme ‘Victory Through Synergy: The OUS Way’ at the Onion Capital of the Philippines, Bongabon Nueva Ecija on June 22-23, 2022.

The activity brought together the entire Open University Systems with the intention of enhancing employee potential, preserving worker solidarity, and enhancing group effectiveness while having some fun.

Bent on achieving inspirational goals and positive dynamics, Day 1 started with an opening address and statement of purpose given by the Executive Director of the Open University Systems Dr. Phillip G. Queroda followed by the presentation of the first and second quarter accomplishment reports delivered by the Deputy Director for Administration, Planning, and Quality Assurance Dr. Romary R. Lincod.

The 2023 AOP and OUS planning was also presented by other officials held responsible for the different parts of the plan while the Deputy Director for Academic, Research and Extension Dr. Erna M. Salazar gave her closing remarks to formally end the first part of the activity.

The execution of several team-building exercises that tested the staff’s collaboration, coordination, teamwork, and communication followed. Each game or activity was enthusiastically and joyfully engaged by the entire crew, who were split into three teams, blue, yellow, and red.

Full of bliss and improved collaboration, the PSU OUS wishes to express its sincere appreciation for the leadership and initiative of those in the OUS family who made the aforementioned activity successful including the ever-inspiring visionary University President, Dr. Dexter R. Buted.

The perfect get-away day helped incorporate many opportunities for the leaders and team members to get to know each other better, share visions and goals and discuss or tackle important issues to continue to hone PSU’s human assets for greater education victory.
