Fully aware of the need to inform and preserve achievements and milestones, Pangasinan State University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas set the green light to procure additional gadgets and equipment that would capture moments and milestones.

On June 19, 2025, President Galas personally turned over the first batch of mirrorless cameras for the Public Relations and Information Office (PRIO) of the main campus and the nine campuses to be used for documentation and media awareness.

“As the information and communication arm of the university, it is fitting that all our campuses have updated cameras and gadgets that they could use in the fulfillment of their jobs. The Management appreciates the way you bring and spread the good news to all our stakeholders,” Dr. Galas said.

Also present during the turnover ceremonies were Vice President Ian D. Evangelista whose Division, the Local and International Affairs, houses PRIO; VP Celeste T. Mercado of the Quality Assurance Division, Faculty Regent Ace John Mark Liwanag and PRIO University Director Venus May Sarmiento.

Accepting the first batch of professional cameras are the Campus Executive Directors- – Dr. Joseph Campit of Alaminos City Campus, Dr. Madlyn Tingco (represented by Dr. Honelly Mae Cascolan) of Asingan Campus and Dr. Oliver Caasi of Sta Maria Campus.

PRIO Campus coordinators, aside from their teaching jobs, also serve as campus publication advisers and process owners involved in accreditation activities.
