Pangasinan State University officials and personnel gathered for a commitment wall signing and luncheon Salu-Salo (Family Day) on September 29, 2026, following the commemorative program for the university’s 47th founding anniversary and the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

The commitment wall signing gave participants an opportunity to express their dedication to the university and its work. The activity carried the morning’s messages of shared responsibility and public service into a collective expression of support.

University President 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗠. 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀 and all university vice presidents were present during the day’s celebration and led the commitment signing, which brought colleagues together to mark the milestones as one PSU community.

“A signature is a beginning. We give it meaning through the way we fulfill our duties, respond to those who need our help, and treat the people we work with. May this wall remind us that each of us has a part in making PSU a university our students can depend on and a workplace where people feel valued,” President Galas added.

A salu-salo followed the signing, allowing personnel to share lunch and spend time with colleagues outside their usual work routines. The gathering gave a personal dimension to the Family Day celebration, with fellowship taking place over a shared meal.

All the other eight Campuses also gathered together, led by their Campus Executive Directors, for the simple but meaningful salu-salo that was full of love and laughter.

Donned in the blue 47th anniversary shirts, the signing and salu-salo provided space for both commitment and companionship for the two parts of university life that the day’s celebration sought to recognize.
