The Pangasinan State University, through its Human Resource Management and Development Office, spearheaded an oathtaking ceremony among newly appointed and reappointed faculty members.

A total of ninety-eight (98) teaching personnel across the nine campuses of the university took oath and were formally welcomed as members of the Pangasinan State University community on January 24, 2025.

PSU President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas led the oathtaking among faculty members with Plantilla items for the first semester of the School Year 2024-2025, held at the DTNB Convention Hall.

The University President clarified that the faculty’s responsibilities extend beyond teaching, urging the oath takers to embrace PSU’s four-fold mission: Instruction, Research, Extension, and Production.

Vice Presidents, Dr. Manolito C. Manuel for Academics, Dr. Elmer C. Vingua for Administration, Faculty Regent Hon. Ace John Mark P. Liwanag, Acting HRMD Officer Ms. Shiela Marie Malicdem and different units from the Human Resource Management and Development Office took part in the said ceremony.

The event also featured a general orientation in the afternoon with PRIO Director Asst. Prof. Venus May H. Sarmiento, Ms. Shiela Marie Malicdem, and HRMDO staff Ms. Princess Diane L. Palisoc as speakers.
