Pangasinan State University through the HRMDO, Faculty Association, and Medical and Dental
Services will be conducting a webinar entitled “๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ๐ผ ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น ๐ต๐ ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ ๐๐น๐ฒ ๐๐บ๐ถ๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ” on June 25 (Friday) at 8:30 am via Zoom.
ALL PSU employees are fervently enjoined to participate in the webinar to boost their awareness and understanding on COVID-19 and its variants, vaccination, and the benefits of having a healthy lifestyle amidst the pandemic.
As part of the universityโs aim and effort to boost PSU communityโs awareness and understanding about Covid-19 and its variants, vaccination, and about having a healthy lifestyle; the University, through the HRMDO, Faculty Association, and Medical and Dental Services, conducts webinar on Promoting Healthy Lifestyle Amidst Pandemic on June 25, 2021 (Friday). Participated by all PSU teaching and non-teaching personnel across all university campuses, the webinar which was conducted simultaneously via Zoom platform and Facebook live featured informative discussions from two renowned medical practitioners of the country.
Comprehensively narrating and explaining about COVID-19โs discovery and the escalation of its cases across continents, Dr. Teodoro J. Herbosa, Special Adviser to the Philippine National Task Force against COVID-19 and Professor at the University of the Philippines โ PGH, enlightened the participants about the different variants of the virus and the distinctions among the vaccines available. Moreover, Dr. Herbosa encouraged PSUnians to be vaccinated and ensured that in accordance with the National Action Plan against Covid-19 bulk of the supply of vaccines will be available soon in the coming months.
Encouraging healthy diet especially amidst the pandemic, Dr. Josephine Grace Chua-Rojo, Chief Resident Physician at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, presented an informative discussion about the nature and history of our eating habits and its impact to the human body. Dr. Chua-Rojo then advised participants to be mindful of their diet and prioritize health and nutrition.
The webinar also permitted a question-and-answer session where the speakers entertained questions and offered concise answers and explanations to PSUnians.
