The Pangasinan State University strengthens its mandate to quality management as it eyed to refine and enhance records management systems in the university.
Through the Office of the Vice President for Quality Assurance headed by Vice President Dr. Jenylyn V. Oboza, a proposed process flow of the university’s records management is conducted today, January 19, at the DVITC Library Building of PSU Main Campus.
“This meeting aims to garner valuable inputs and ensure that the proposed process aligns seamlessly with our organizational objectives and external regulatory requirements, particularly in adherence to the Anti-Red-Tape Act,” Dr. Oboza said.
An organized discussion of step-by -step procedures were laid out in the said meeting for the awareness of proposed relevant updates addressing concerns on downward communications and incoming and outgoing communication procedures.
“We would also like to emphasize that this process flow will lead to fostering wellness and mental health of personnel in the university. Let us not forget to respect and value their time dedicated for their family and personal life,” the Vice President added.
Campus executive directors, university officials and directors and office representatives were present and contributed in the refinement of potential interventions to cater to encountered problems in proper information dissemination.
The Records Management Office also signifies its support in maximizing services especially its online operations to align with the mandate of the law and protocols.
PSU, led by University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, continues to refine its systems to provide excellent service, customer-focused and transparent involvement of the institution to social and community progress.
