Bringing pride and honor to Region I, Pangasinan State University, led by President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, humbly received several awards from the Commission on Higher Education in Region I (CHED-R01) during the ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฑ๐๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ on July 19, 2024.
The momentous event, held at the Monarch Hotel in Calasiao town, coincided with the ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ญ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฑ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ (๐๐๐๐๐) as part of the 30th anniversary of CHED.
The activity aims to offer HEI executives with insights on strategic leadership practices and initiatives; facilitate collaborative networking opportunities among HEI presidents to foster partnership and sharing in the Region; and celebrate the achievements of outstanding HEIs and students, according to CHED Regional Director Dr. Christine N. Ferrer.
The awards for PSU were received by President Elbert Galas together with the Vice Presidents โ Dr. Manolito C. Manuel for Academic and Students Services and Prof. Celeste Mercado for Quality Assurance.
