Various programs in the University faced another cycle of accreditation from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Inc. visit on October 7-11 and October 9-11.
The October 2024 batch programs included in the said accreditation are from PSU campuses of Alaminos City, Asingan, Bayambang, Binmaley, Infanta, Lingayen, Urdaneta City and School of Advanced Studies.
PSU President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, along with Vice Presidents Dr. Celeste T. Mercado, Dr. Manolito C. Manuel, Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, Dr. Jenylyn V. Oboza and Dr. Ian Evangelista represented by Directors, Asst. Prof. Venus May H. Sarmiento and Dr. Lorena Echalar, extended their united quest to quality education at the host venue, DTNB Convention Hall.

The President thanked the accreditors and acknowledged the efforts of everyone in the continuous improvement in delivering quality services.
Dr. Galas added that this week, PSU will embark on another round of accreditation as the university aims to see how much 15 programs in eight campuses have developed in terms of its service not only to the academic community but to the larger society.
During the opening program on October 7, 2024, AACCUP Coordinators Dr. Annalene Grace E. Co and Prof. Mary Jane R. Hermoso highlighted the importance of accreditation of programs in an academic institution in the quest for innovation and development.
Meanwhile, AACCUP coordinators of the second batch of programs Dr. Sherrilyn B. Quintos, Dr. Roland M. Valencia, Dr. Liza M. Tamargo and Dr. Filiemon A. Pamittan on October 9, 2024, said that open mindedness and collaboration are effective approaches in pursuing successful accreditation as it makes an institution a catalyst of positive change.
Other AACCUP Accreditors for each campus are Dr. Christina D. Vicencio and Prof. Milagros P. Matillano for PSU Infanta with their university counterparts headed by Elmer C. Vingua; and Dr. Donata L. Valler and Dr. Lilibeth L. Gumpal for the School of Advanced Studies with ED Dr. Paulo V. Cenas.
PSU Alaminos City Campus led by CED Dr. Rosario DL. Valencerina accreditors include Dr. Divinagracia M. De Guzman, Dr. Divina M. Yango, Dr. Lourdes S. Santos and Prof. Mary Joy A. Castillo; PSU Asingan programs headed by CED Dr. Madlyn Tingco were visited by Dr. Renelda P. Nacianceno, Dr. Carmen L. Cruzata, Dr. Romeo T. Quintos, Jr. and Dr. Job D. Paguio.
PSU Bayambang Campus with its CED Dr. Gudelia M. Samson welcomed accreditors Dr. Alonzo L. Mortejo and Dr. Jazmin P. Cubillo, while PSU Lingayen headed by CED Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, accreditors were Dr. Perla Ds. Carpio, Dr. Jane V. Fuentes, Dr. Digna M. De Guzman, Prof. Lucia Estella Grace A. Abaa, Dr. Sherwin B. Sapin, Dr. Julius A. Sareno, Dr. Marlon R. Pereña and Dr. Marlon R. Pereña.
In the Urdaneta Campus led by CED, Dr. Roy C. Ferrer, accreditors include Engr. Rhoderick M. Favorito, Dr. Roland M. Valencia, Arch. Ma. Theresa V. Gopez, Arch. Dennis L. Estacio, Engr. Nancy M. Santiago and Engr. Nancy M. Santiago. Binmaley Campus with its CED, Dr. Marie Claire B. Briones, was with accreditors Dr. Co and Hermoso during the visit.
