The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) conducted an Orientation Program to 63 incoming scholars on July 7 (Thursday) at Don Telesforo N. Boquiren Convention Hall, Pangasinan State University to impart information on scholarship guidelines and benefits.
Together with their parents, qualifiers from Districts 1, 2 and 3 in Pangasinan also officially signed their Scholarship Agreement with DOST.
Dr. Dexter R. Buted, University President, did not miss the opportunity to inspire the participants by sharing his struggles and successes on being a student-scholar.
Also present in the event were Student and Alumni Affairs (SAA) Director, Prof. Celeste T. Mercado; SAA Deputy Director, Mr. Mark Marlon P. de Vera; and Provincial S&T Director, Engr. Arnold C. Santos.
