Pangasinan State University was recognized by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) as the ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ during the ๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ญ๐๐ค๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ held on November 27, 2024.
Regional Director Sheila O. De Guzman of PSA Region 1 said the award was based on three criteria that include: percentage of data submission (35%), timeliness (30%) and completeness (356%).
University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas who was represented by Acting Director for Human Resource Management and Development (HRMD) Ms. Sheila Marie Malicdem, said the award is another testament to PSUโs commitment to strong partnership and support to government agencies in data gathering and information generation that are crucial in the formulation of policies.
The activity also coincided with a PSA forum on updates of the birth registration assistance project and the Philippine Identification System, list of establishments and the concepts of the Aquaculture survey.
