During the inauguration of the Cancer Institute at the Region I Medical Center in Dagupan City, President Marcos shook hands with Dr. Galas as introduced by Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III and consequently engaged in a brief conversation.
In his message, PBBM described the Cancer Institute as a significant development in improving access to cancer care and treatment for patients in Ilocos Region. He added that the institute reaffirms the governmentβs commitment to enhancing health care infrastructure and making quality care accessible to all Filipinos.
Aside from the R1MC event, PBBM was in Pangasinan for two other events – the groundbreaking of the Paitan Dam in Sta. Maria town and the groundbreaking of the Sky Garden in Alaminos City.
