In the spirit of compassion and bayanihan in the recent calamity, the Pangasinan State University Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PSUMPC) distributed relief packs for its members on July 29, 2025.
General Manager Genaro T. Tomelden, Jr. said it is but fitting to give back to its members, comprising of faculty and non-teaching personnel of the university, especially now that they endured the wrath of the typhoons. He said some members’ houses were submerged in flood waters and many suffered from loss or damage to properties and belongings.
Additionally, Board of Directors Chair Mr. Gregorio F. Delos Angeles emphasized that the food packs can somehow bring comfort and immediate aid to PSUMPC members who became instant victims of the typhoon and flooding.
The relief packs consisted of canned foods, bread, cheese, noodles, biscuits and coffee. These were distributed at the PSUMPC Lingayen office.
