“Pamaskong Handong ng PSU Bayambang”, an outreach activity, was initiated by Pangasinan State University – Bayambang, under the leadership of Campus Executive Director, Dr. Gudelia M. Samson, together with select campus officials and staff in Dipaculao, Aurora Province, December 18, 2024.
The said activity was a collective effort by the campus to reach out and extend aid to the victims of the consecutive typhoons that hit the province of Aurora, specifically, Brgy. Dibutunan in the municipality of Dipaculao.
A total of 320 relief packages, donated through the campus drive and packed by the Supreme Student Council and student organizations, were distributed by CED Samson and her team in partnership with Sierra Falcone – Aurora Chapter, a humanitarian and environmental organization.
Notably, this event culminates the series of outreach activities that was conducted by the various departments and student organizations of the campus in different adopted communities to spread the light and hope this holiday season.
PSU Bayambang would like to thank every donor and volunteer that contributed to the fruition of this outreach activity.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the LGU Dipaculao, Sierra Falcones – Aurora Chapter, and the barangay officials of Brgy. Dibutunan that ensured the seamless distribution of the relief packages.
We would also like to appreciate the leadership of Dr. Elbert M. Galas, University President, for allowing us to conduct this outreach activity and supporting us in this endeavor.
May we all continue to uplift the spirit of joy and camaraderie this season, PSUnians!
