Progress took a visible step forward as Pangasinan State University – Binmaley Campus formally commenced the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Extension of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) Building, marking another defining milestone in the institution’s continuous pursuit of academic excellence and modernized learning facilities. The ceremony followed the earlier Blessing of the building, symbolizing the community’s shared commitment to a development that will serve generations of future law enforcement and public safety professionals.

Leading the historic activity was University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, joined by Vice President for Quality Assurance Dr. Celeste T. Mercado; Dr. Randy Joy M. Ventayen, Director for International Accreditation; Dr. David Livingstone T. Ramos, Director for Monitoring and Evaluation; Dr. And Julie Rosal, Head for Sustainability Development and Futures Thinking; Dr. Rhowell Dellosa, Director for Research; and Engr. Razel Reyes from the Engineering Office. Also present were Campus Executive Director Dr. Joseph B. Campit, Campus Administrative Officer, Dr. Jonathan R. Jose, CCJE Dean Dr. Jan Michael A. Fernandez, CFES Dean Dr. Lemark M. Bautista, CGTE Dean Dr. Richelle A. Junio, Dr. Romeo A. Caloza, Dean for Student Services and Alumni Affairs, Quality Assurance Coordinator Mr. Kier L. Collado, alongside program chairs, faculty members, staff, and students whose presence reflected the collective pride and shared vision of the university community.

More than the start of a construction project, the CCJE building extension represents the university’s sustained investment in student development, institutional growth, and the strengthening of programs that shape future protectors of peace and order.
