Pangasinan State University continues to strengthen its commitment to transparent, accountable, and efficient governance through the conduct of a Procurement Planning Orientation in support of the implementation of the New Government Procurement Act (RA 12009).
Led by the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance Management, the activity brought together key personnel from the Accounting, Budget, Supply, Property, and Procurement Offices to reinforce institutional alignment with national procurement policies and standards.
The session revisited and emphasized the proper preparation and utilization of the Annual Procurement Plan (APP), Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP), Market Scoping Forms, and Philippine Bidding Documents, in accordance with the guidelines of the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB). The orientation also highlighted the importance of consistency, documentation accuracy, and compliance in all procurement-related undertakings.
Dr. Jeanilyn L. Villanueva, Vice President for Administration and Finance Management, encouraged collaboration and shared responsibility in implementing the reforms. “Let’s work hand in hand in ensuring that our procurement processes reflect transparency, integrity, and full compliance with the law. Our collective effort strengthens not only our systems but also the trust placed in our institution,” she emphasized.
Through sustained capacity-building initiatives such as this, PSU continues to ensure full compliance with RA 12009, promoting efficiency, integrity, and accountability across all its campuses.
