The Philippine Army’s Reserve Force, led by Col Nolito A. Quemi, Group Commander 1RCDG RESCOM Phil Army from the 104th Community Defense Center, recently paid a courtesy visit to the University President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, to solidify its partnership with Pangasinan State University.

The visit aimed for a closer relationship between the university and the 104th CD, with the goal of enhancing the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program and providing more opportunities for students.

The discussion focused on ways to intensify trainings and community service initiatives that would benefit the students and the community.
“Very timely as it is, we welcome this partnership with the Army Reserve Force as it gives our students the opportunity to instill discipline, and develop a deeper sense of service to the nation.” Dr. Elbert M. Galas told the officers.

Through this collaboration, students will have the opportunity to engage with military personnel and participate in meaningful activities that promote national defense and community development.
Bridging the guest officers to President Galas were Dr. Reynante T. Mangsat, Director for NSTP, Physical Education and Sports Development, and Ms. Judy Ann Abat, Lingayen Campus NSTP Coordinator.
