Upholding its commitment to excellence, accountability and efficient governance, the Pangasinan State University Management convened for the First Quarter Administrative and Finance Council Meeting of 2026 held at the Dr. Telesforo Boquiren Convention Hall, March 3, 2026.
With a quorum duly determined by the Acting Board Secretary, Dr. Ailene Batang, the π¨π»πΆππ²πΏππΆππ π£πΏπ²ππΆπ±π²π»π, ππ«. ππ₯πππ«π π. πππ₯ππ¬, formally called the meeting to order and presented the agenda for discussion, highlighting key operational updates, financial matters, and policy directions for the first quarter of the year.
Present during the meeting were the Universityβs Vice Presidents: Dr. Weenalei T. Fajardo for Academics and Student Services; Dr. Razeale G. Resultay for Research, Extension and Innovation; Dr. Renato E. Salcedo for Local and International Affairs; Dr. Celeste T. Mercado for Quality Assurance; and Dr. Jeanilyn L. Villanueva for Administration and Finance Management.
Each Vice President delivered their respective divisionβs accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and priority programs aligned with the Universityβs strategic goals for 2026.
Among the highlights discussed were updates on academic preparations for the upcoming academic year 2026-2027, research and extension engagements, quality assurance mechanisms, and budget utilization and infrastructure developments.
Key provisions of Memoranda of Agreement and Memoranda of Understanding were likewise presented for review and endorsement. Matters approved by the Council will be elevated to the Board of Regents for further deliberation and confirmation.
The Administrative and Finance Council is composed of the University President, Vice Presidents, Executive Directors of the campuses, heads of SAS and OUS, and Office Directors, serving as voting members in advancing institutional directions and operational excellence.
