Pangasinan State University (PSU) reinforced its commitment to employee welfare and holistic well-being through the successful conduct of Project PUSO (Providing Unified Services On-site): Appreciating PSUnianโ€™s Heartwork on February 27, 2026 at the Dr. Telesforo N. Boquiren Convention Hall.

Spearheaded by the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), the initiative brought essential government and financial services directly to PSU employees through a centralized and convenient on-site setup. The program minimized the need for employees to leave campus to process memberships, benefits, loans and other related transactions.

Partner agencies and institutions that provided on-site services included the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, Social Security System (SSS), Landbank and UCPB Savings Bank.

Services rendered included loan applications, membership updating, contribution verification, financial literacy sessions and other related inquiries.

Your heartwork fuels our mission of excellence.โ€

Dr. Aileen A. Batang, Acting Chief Administrative Officer for Administration, highlighted the significance of the activity, saying: โ€œThis program is not just a service caravan, isa itong konkretong paraan ng pagpapakita na ang ating mga empleyado ang tunay na puso ng ating unibersidad.โ€

Meanwhile, Dr. Jeanilyn L. Villanueva, Vice President for Administration and Finance Management, shared her message of appreciation: โ€œWe recognize not only the services provided but also the dedication, compassion and heartwork of every PSUnian. Your contributionsโ€”big and smallโ€”are the lifeblood of our institution, and this event was our way of saying thank you.โ€
In her closing remarks, Dr. Sheila Marie G. Malicdem, Acting University HRMD Officer, conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to all partner agencies, organizers and PSU employees who participated and supported the activity, emphasizing that the success of Project PUSO was made possible through collective cooperation and shared commitment.

The participation and cooperation of PSU employees made the activity a meaningful and impactful initiative.

Through Project PUSO, PSU once again affirmed that at the heart of its success are its people โ€” the PSUnians whose passion and dedication continue to drive the University forward.
