Pangasinan State University celebrates its champions for quality management, who are now recognized as part of the country’s elite pool of experts.

True enough, five PSU personnel have officially joined the roster of certified Teacher Education Council (TEC) assessors.

TEC is mandated to serve as the lead and central agency in developing, coordinating, and enhancing the Philippine teacher education system.

The new national assessors include Prof. Cristeta C. Dulos, Director for Global Citizenship Education; Dr. Celeste T. Mercado, Vice President for Quality Assurance; Dr. Jenylyn V. Oboza, Associate Professor; Dr. Juan Primitivo P. Petrola, Director for the Presidential Management and Liaison Office; and Dr. Liza L. Quimson, Campus Executive Director.

PSU President Dr. Elbert M. Galas said that the quality education championed at the helm of the university has been recognized as a contributor to national quality standards.

“It’s commendable that the excellence and capability of our personnel are recognized in fostering quality standards that help the education sector address the gaps in Filipino education,” President Galas shared.

Notably, PSU is among the t Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) with the highest number of assessors nationwide.
