The official delegation from Pangasinan State University arrived in Iloilo City today, April 7, to take part in the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges – National Culture and Arts Festival (PASUC-NCAF) 2026.

PSU President and PASUC Region 1 President Dr. Elbert M. Galas said the four-day celebration from April 8-11, 2026, marks a significant convergence of academic excellence and cultural stewardship.
Some 66 delegates from PSU that include student-contestants, coaches and university officials joined other SUC delegates who represent PASUC Region 1 namely DMMMSU, UNP, MMSU and ISPSC.

PSU’s Dr. Ramil Dacal, Campus Executive Director of Infanta Campus who serves as a Member of the National Technical Secretariat of PASUC Culture and Arts, said the contingents to the national event were the champions or gold medalists in the regional eliminations held last March.

The NCAF will showcase competitions in visual arts, music, dance, dramatic arts and literary arts.
This year’s national finals is hosted by the West Visayas State University and other SUCs in Region 6.

Bearing the institution’s commitment to holistic education, the PSU and Region 1 delegates stepped into the national scene as ambassadors of heritage, creativity, and scholarly artistry—ready to engage, collaborate and celebrate the rich tapestry of Filipino culture.
