Pangasinan State University (PSU) further solidifies its commitment to global academic standards as a dedicated group of faculty members prepares for the International Mobility and Academic Program (IMAP) at Thu Duc College of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As a flagship initiative of the University’s Local and International Affairs Office led by Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, IMAP serves as a strategic framework for faculty and student exchange, aimed at fostering cross-cultural collaboration, research partnerships, and the exchange of pedagogical best practices with partner institutions worldwide. The delegation’s activities and institutional alignment are closely supervised by Dr. Jenn Parrone, IMAP Coordinator and Urdaneta City Campus Coordinator for International Linkages, ensuring that the program’s objectives meet both campus-level and university-wide internationalization goals.

Representing the Bayambang Campus, Mr. Romeo Reloza from the College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology, brings a focus on English language instruction and literacy. His participation aims to bridge linguistic methodologies between PSU and international partner institutions through shared instructional strategies.

The Urdaneta Campus is represented by a robust technical delegation from the College of Engineering, including Engr. Romsan D. Lopez, Engr. Pauline Joy V. Roa, and Engr. Kuinee P. Olaget. These faculty members are tasked with exploring advancements in engineering and automation frameworks and sustainable technological practices that can be integrated into the university’s local curriculum and research projects.

From the Lingayen Campus, Ms. Gerli Ryza DS. Reyes and Ms. Anna Clarice M. Yanday of the College of Computing Sciences join the delegation to focus on the evolving landscape of Information Technology. Their engagement centers on digital transformation, multimedia advancements, data analytics, and the application of modern computing trends in higher education.

The participation of these educators in IMAP serves as a testament to the university’s drive for institutional excellence and professional development. By engaging with international peers, the delegation is expected to return with innovative insights that will enhance the quality of instruction and support the university’s vision of becoming a premier academic institution in the ASEAN region. Through these global partnerships, Pangasinan State University continues to empower its faculty to lead in an increasingly interconnected academic world.
