University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas led the conduct of the Campus Management Review (CMR) – an institutional quality assurance mechanism designed to ensure that audit findings are addressed with urgency and integrity, at Pangasinan State University (PSU) Urdaneta City Campus following the President’s Hour on May 4, 2026.
As a key quality assurance (QA) mechanism, the CMR ensures that findings from prior audits are acknowledged, systematically addressed, and resolved. Central to this process is the Quality Assurance Office, led by Dr. Celeste T. Mercado, whose team facilitated the review with a focus on compliance, documentation, and sustained improvement. She was joined by Dr. Randy Joy M. Ventayen, Director for International Accreditation, and Mr. Charles Dustein Soriano, University Document Control Custodian.
The session also included the participation of audit team leader Dr. Shiela Marie Malicdem, who provided clarifications and technical guidance on the audit findings, enabling productive discussions and informed responses from the campus.
Under the leadership of Campus Executive Director Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, the Urdaneta City Campus demonstrated strong collaboration and responsiveness. Campus officials actively engaged in the review, presenting concrete actions taken to address previously identified gaps and showing an undeterred determination to resolving findings.
The CMR stands as a proactive approach to ensuring measurable improvements and sustaining the culture of excellence and transparency across all campuses.
