PSU proudly marks another significant global milestone as it secures an Overall Rank of 1001–1500 in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, with the official results released during the THE Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC) in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 24, 2026.

This achievement highlights not only PSU’s growing global presence but also its continuous progress in sustainability performance, improving from its previous overall rank of 1501+. This remarkable advancement reflects the University’s strengthened commitment to sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility through impactful programs and initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

PSU successfully earned ratings in 16 out of 17 Sustainable Development Goals, demonstrating the University’s dedication to creating meaningful contributions in key areas such as poverty reduction, quality education, health and well-being, sustainable communities, environmental stewardship, and strategic partnerships.
Among PSU’s notable accomplishments are its ratings in SDG 1 (No Poverty) at 301–400, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) at 601–800, and SDG 14 (Life Below Water) at 401+, underscoring the University’s impactful efforts in addressing global challenges through excellence in instruction, research, extension, and community engagement.

This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of the entire PSU community—administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners—whose unwavering dedication continues to elevate the University as the Region’s Premier University of Choice.
