Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta City Campus secured fifth place nationwide in the July 2026 Master Plumbers Licensure Examination, posting an exemplary passing rate of 93.88 percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board for Master Plumbers formally recognized PSU-Urdaneta City Campus for its outstanding performance among participating schools, colleges, and universities with at least 30 examinees and an overall passing rate of 80 percent or higher.

The recognition was conferred on August 29, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. The distinction further strengthens the University’s record of producing competent professionals equipped to meet the standards and demands of their respective fields.
University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas commended the successful examinees, faculty members and administrators whose collective efforts contributed to the achievement.

“This recognition reflects the discipline of our students, the commitment of our faculty, and our shared pursuit of academic excellence. More than achieving a high passing rate, we take pride in preparing professionals who will serve their communities with competence, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility,” President Galas said.

Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, Campus Executive Director of PSU-Urdaneta City Campus, also shared the importance of sustained academic preparation, faculty mentorship and institutional support in producing highly qualified graduates.

The University attributed the milestone to the dedication of its examinees and faculty members, as well as the continuing support of the campus and university administration. PSU remains committed to strengthening its academic programs and providing relevant learning experiences that prepare students for professional practice and nation-building.
