Hurray for PSU Urdaneta City Campus!

Pangasinan State University (PSU) Urdaneta Campus has secured the Top 2 ranking among the country’s top-performing schools in the Electrical Engineering Licensure Examination, further affirming the University’s sustained commitment to academic excellence, professional competence, and outcomes-based education.

The recognition, conferred by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), shows an 86.67% passing percentage for 30 or more examinees. It underscores the strong performance of PSU’s Electrical Engineering graduates and reflects the institution’s continuing efforts to develop highly competent professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills and ethical grounding required in the engineering profession.

University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas said the achievement speaks of the collective excellence of the campus’ academic community—its faculty members, students, administrators and support personnel—whose sustained collaboration contributes to a culture of quality and high performance.

The President likewise congratulated the present and former Campus Executive Directors of Urdaneta City Campus – Dr. Renato E. Salcedo and Dr. Roy Ferrer, respectively, for leading the path to quality education in the campus.
