The ASCU-SN (Association of State Colleges and Universities – Solid North) Sports and Socio-Cultural festival, officially commenced yesterday, July 2, 2024.
A parade held at the University Track Oval in Isabela State University-Echague Campus signified the opening of the week-long event, participated in by State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Regions 1, 2, 3 and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
The πππ§π ππ¬π’π§ππ§ πππππ ππ§π’π―ππ«π¬π’ππ² ππ«ππ¬π’πππ§π, ππ«. ππππ«π π. πππ₯ππ¬, led the 245 employee-athletes, Golden Lions, in showcasing sportsmanship, camaraderie and unity.
PSU Vice Presidents Dr. Jenylyn Oboza, Dr. Ian D. Evangelista, Prof. Celeste T. Mercado, Campus Executive Directors Dr. Liza L. Quimson, Dr. Honorio L. Cascolan, Dr. Renato, E. Salcedo, Dr. Rosario DL. Valencerina and Faculty Regent Mr. Ace John Mark P. Liwanag, also attended the opening event.
A Presidentβs Night following the opening program became a highlight of gathering among participating SUC leaders in ASCU-SN 2024.
Again, in this yearβs ASCU-SN, everyone in the playing field is energized with enthusiasm ready to showcase their talents and skills in fostering unity and togetherness towards academic excellence.
