PSUnians jubilantly welcomed Secretary Conrado Estrella III of the Department of Agrarian Reform in his visit to the academic institution’s premier hotel, the Golden Lion Hotel on April 15.
Secretary Estrella was met by University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas at the hotel’s lobby and breakfast area before they headed off to the Lingayen airport to meet Senator Imee Marcos.
Sen. Marcos flew in to Pangasinan for the 49th anniversary celebration of Kabataang Barangay held at the Sison Auditorium.
The Secretary later on went back to GLH for a meeting with some PSU officials where he was joined by ABONO Partylist Representative Eskimo Estrella and Isabela Governor Rodolfo Albano III.
The PSU team led by President Galas, Vice President Ian Evangelista, Engr. Isagani Victorio and Faculty Regent Ace Mark Liwanag discussed collaborative porgrams for the university with the visiting officials.
Secretary Estrella, our kabaleyan, was appointed as one of three caretakers of the country during the recent trip of President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos,Jr. to Washington DC for a trilateral summit.
