The Department of Trade and Industry-Pangasinan recognized Pangasinan State University Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab) of Urdaneta Campus as 2024 Presidential Awardee for Outstanding Development Partner.
𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐑𝐄𝐈), 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐆. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐲 represented PSU President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, in receiving the award at the DTI-Pangasinan Office, Dagupan City held on July 17, 2024.

Along with 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐛, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐱 𝐁. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡. 𝐉𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐨, in the awarding ceremony.
𝐃𝐓𝐈 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐁. 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧, led the awarding ceremony commending the two awardees, PSU for Development Partner and Bantog Samahang Nayon Multipurpose Cooperative (BSNMPC) in Asingan town for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) category for their dedication and committed contribution.

According to the Provincial Director, DTI witnessed the transition of development among cooperating enterprises and the significance of unity, collaboration and partnership. Dir. Dalaten termed it ‘fulfillment of duty as a government worker.’
Meanwhile 𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬, shared to PSU team the quest to innovation and that every member of the university has the power to contribute to holistic development.
