Pangasinan State University extension services, Adopt-a-Sitio Program, reached Sitio Mapita locals for health assessment and assistance on December 7, 2023.

The said initiative benefited Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and mentally challenged residents.

A gift giving activity was also conducted in coordination with the ROTC unit in the University with an aim of spreading generosity and building camaraderie.

To date, the said community was still part of university’s extension services since 2022.
A total of sixteen (16) PWDs and seventeen (17) mentally challenged individuals were catered in the recent event.

PSU, led by University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, continues its dedication towards social responsiveness and upliftment of life status.
