The 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 hosted a benchmarking activity with 𝐈𝐟𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 on February 12, 2025.
IFSU explored the best practices shared by PSU’s Quality Assurance Division and Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) Office.
During the benchmarking activity, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐕. 𝐂𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨, together with 𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐀𝐏 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐂. 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲, led the presentation of each office’s best practices.
𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬, extended his heartfelt appreciation to the IFSU delegation for their confidence in PSU as a benchmark institution for quality services, expressing his hope that the visit would foster meaningful exchanges and further strengthen the partnership between the two institutions.
Concerns related to processes such as enrollment, deputization, mode of instruction, and other operations in the ETEEAP Office became the focus of the event.
On the Quality Assurance (QA) side, discussions centered on program accreditation and concerns regarding committee selection for various areas.
𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏. 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢, 𝐈𝐅𝐒𝐔 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 and head of the delegation, expressed her gratitude to Pangasinan State University for facilitating a meaningful exchange of ideas. Dr. Caclini also praised the university’s quality assurance mechanisms, recognizing them as exemplary in higher education.
