The Office of the Vice-President for Administration and Linkages (OVPAL) convened the 10 offices under the Division for its second monthly meeting or ‘Kumustahan’ on February 7 to revisit the process manuals and gather updates.

Dr. Dexter R. Buted, Vice-President of the Division, commended the offices for the various accomplishments achieved in a span of one month.

The Human Resources and Management Office tackled the Revised Organization and Staffing Standards (ROSS) for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and the University’s quests towards a platinum award for the Investors in People (IIP).

Dr. Buted also reiterated the Social Work program and establish a centralized emergency fund to help employees in need especially those whose immediate family members have died.

Newly –promoted employees under the 8th cycle of the National Budget Circular (NBC) must also be given due recognition, he said.

“Social responsibility or charity begins at home. We should help our employees . Little things mean a lot. We have to inspire our employees for them to do better,” Dr. Buted said.

Other topics discussed included benchmarking activities, cleanliness and ‘Linis Party’, dual study student program for international linkages, records management, energy saving programs, solid waste management, disaster resilience, security and traffic, vehicle scheduling and procurement updates.
