Pangasinan State University President ππ«. ππ₯πππ«π π. πππ₯ππ¬ led the Thanksgiving Celebration at the PSUβBayambang Campus, headed by ππ«. ππππ₯π²π§ ππ’π§π ππ¨, in honor of its designation as a πππ π’π¨π§ππ₯ πππ§πππ« π¨π ππ±πππ₯π₯ππ§ππ (πππ) in Teacher Education in a result released by the Teacher Education Council (TEC) on June 4, 2026.
In his message, Dr. Galas emphasized that the COE designation is not only a recognition of past accomplishments but also a call to sustain innovation and quality in teacher education. He lauded the campus for its dedication to producing globally competitive and values-driven educators; a tradition the president himself witnessed firsthand, having served the campus from 2006 to 2015 as an Instructor and Network Administrator and later on designated as the Chairperson of the Information Technology Department.
With gratitude and pride at the forefront, the event gathered university officials, faculty members, students, and key stakeholders to honor the collective achievement of the PSU Bayambang community.
Also gracing the celebration were Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovation Dr. Razeale Resultay; Dr. Cristeta C. Dulos, Director for Global Citizenship Education; and Dr. Ramil Dacal, Campus Executive Director of the Infanta Campus, all of whom expressed their support for the campusβ continued pursuit of excellence.
As a newly designated Regional Center of Excellence, the campus moves forward with renewed purpose and pride.
