𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑬𝒍𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝑴. 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒔, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Higher, Technical, and Vocational Education (CHTVE), Hon. Loren B. Legarda, on September 18, 2025.
Serving as the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Region I President, Dr. Galas, together with regional PASUC chairpersons from across the country, gathered at the Senate of the Philippines, GSIS Building, Pasay City.
“The appointment of Hon. Legarda ushers in innovation in Higher Education Institutions, and PSU is more than excited to further advance its mission of delivering quality education,” Dr. Galas said.
The regional PASUC chairpersons were led by National PASUC President, Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo.
Dr. Ronquillo emphasized that PASUC remains steadfast in strengthening collaboration with key government agencies in support of its member SUCs in fulfilling their mandates.
