𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 ‘𝐌𝐨𝐧-𝐌𝐨𝐧’ 𝐕. 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐈𝐈𝐈 personally awarded the grants to the PSUnians at the Provincial Training and Development Center in Lingayen town on November 14, 2024, saying the scholarship is a stimulus program to help the youth finish their studies.
Each scholar received P5,000 per semester for School Year 2023 to 2024, totaling P10,000.

The provincial chief executive also revealed that for the first time in the history of Pangasinan, the provincial budget amounted to more than 7.1-billion pesos, thus the province can afford to give scholarships, he added.
Consequently, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬 expressed his gratitude to 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐨, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐃𝐆. 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐨 and the provincial officials for selecting PSU students to be recipients of the scholarship grants.

Meanwhile, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐓. 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬, along with Deans for Students Services from the nine campuses, accompanied the scholars for the distribution ceremony.
The breakdown of the number of eligible scholars for every campus are as follows: 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐬 -𝟗𝟏; 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 – 𝟏𝟎𝟕; 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 -𝟐𝟎𝟕; 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐲 – 𝟒𝟕; 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 – 𝟓𝟕; 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐧 – 𝟐𝟗𝟏; 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬 – 𝟏𝟓𝟗; 𝐒𝐭𝐚. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 – 𝟖𝟕; and 𝐔𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 – 𝟏𝟔𝟎.
