In the spirit of the yuletide season, the University through the Extension Services Office headed by Dr. Francis Albert Argente had delivered rice and Noche Buena food packs to the typhoon-stricken municipalities of Alcala, Cagayan and Virac, Catanduanes last December 5, 12, and 13.
Said office initiated the “Tulong sa Pag-ahon” Fund Drive last November to finance these gift-giving activities after the Typhoons Quinta, Rolly, Siony and Ulysses hit the country.
A total of 494 food packs were received by the residents of Barangays Afusing Batu and Piggatan in Alcala, Cagayan and Barangay Pajo Baguioin Virac, Catanduanes.
