Former Vice President for OVPAFM who is also the pioneering lead for IiP, Dr. Jenylyn V. Oboza, led the orientation.
Oboza encapsulated a wide range of must-know concepts, areas for accreditation and the PSU’s IiP milestone through her topic ‘Turning the Framework into Practice: What it means for University Leadership.’
Dr. Oboza, the first IiP Focal Person, said that since there is a pioneering PSU IiP accreditation in 2018 under the leadership of PSU President, Dr. Dexter R. Buted, she is confident that through the administration of Dr. Elbert M. Galas, the university will advance to platinum status.
During her talk, Dr. Oboza highlighted the importance of embodying PSU core values among PSUnians as it will serve as the heart of pursuing IiP accreditation.
“This is the only framework that puts premium to people,” Oboza added.
Vice Presidents Dr. Rosario DL. Valencerina and Dr. Celeste T. Mercado, took part in the said event and reminded the attendees that a true PSUnian should not rest in the set standard but rather be eager to engage to a more sustainable workplace and as an academic institution.
HRMDO personnel led by its OIC-Officer, Ms. Shiela Marie G. Malicdem, showed unified support in the said event.
PSU is currently a holder of IiP Gold level award.
