The university is on active mode pioneering volunteerism mechanisms among its offices.
The office of the 𝑽𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝑬𝒙𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑹𝑬𝑰) 𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑽𝑷 𝑫𝒓. 𝑹𝒂𝒛𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝑮. 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒙𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑫𝒓. 𝑨𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑫. 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐, spearheaded a training-workshop on Volunteering Management System (VMS) on July 17-18, 2024.

The said two-day event was attended by various University officials and officials from PSU’s nine campuses.
PNVSCA personnel led the lecture and workshop sessions in the event, intensifying volunteerism mechanism with an aim to build foundation, offering more in-depth knowledge and practical tools for managing volunteer efforts.
PNVSCA personnel who served as speakers were 𝐌𝐬. 𝐄𝐥𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐨 (𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫), 𝐌𝐬. 𝐏𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 (𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐲 (𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫).
𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬, shared similar volunteerism endeavors as he, himself, joined and served as lead host of the 2nd forum for International Volunteer Service Program.
