Pangasinan State University received a special citation as SIKAP Awardee during the 37th Founding Anniversary of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center in Region I, under the umbrella of the Department of Agriculture.
Center Director Rogelio Evangelista said the Sikap Award is awarded to ATI’s partners in Region 1 for their exemplary and unwavering support in the implementation of ATI-RTC1 programs, projects and activities in 2023 and for their contribution to the excellent delivery of agri-fisheries extension services in Ilocos Region.
University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas thanked the DA-ATI for recognizing PSU as an Academe Partner Implementer and assured the full support of PSUnians in agri-fisheries development.
On behalf of the President, the award was received by Campus Executive Director Dr. Honorio L. Cascolan and fisheries experts and researchers from PSU Sta. Maria Campus in a ceremony held on February 7, 2024 at the institute’s training center in Sta. Barbara town.
