πππ§πππ§, ππ§ππ¨π§ππ¬π’πβ Strengthening its global academic partnerships, Pangasinan State University Open University Systems (PSU-OUS) wrapped up its five-day academic engagement in Indonesia with a visit to Universitas Bina Bangsa (UNIBA) on February 22-23, 2025, where faculty members also shared their expertise as visiting lecturers.
The said international academic engagement marks the continuation of the strong academic partnership between PSU and UNIBA and also featured sharing of best practices, and the formal turnover of the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU); Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), and Implementation of Agreement (IA).
The engagement also featured a series of lectures delivered by OUS professors, covering topics on academic specializations, international accreditations, and best practices in higher education, among others.
Notably, PSU and UNIBA officially kicked off their partnership last year with the 1st Bina Bangsa International Conference, Research, and Innovation co-hosted by the UNIBA and PSUβs College of Business and Public Administration, where numerous PSU faculty members shared their expertise as plenary speakers.
UNIBA faculty and staff, led by Rector Prof. Drs. M. Suparmoko, MAPhD, warmly welcomed the PSU delegation and expressed deep appreciation for the valuable insights shared by the visiting professors.
The PSU delegates included Dr. Phillip G. Queroda, OUS Executive Director; Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, Lingayen Campus Executive Director; Dr. Rosario DL. Valencerina, Alaminos Campus Executive Director; Dr. Randy Joy M. Ventayen, Director for International Accreditation; Dr. Erna M. Salazar, Director for Internship; Dr. Caren O. Ventayen, Coordinator for International Linkages; Dr. Grace G. De Vera, MAED Program Adviser; and Dr. Katherine V. Queroda, Chairperson of Professional Education Department.
The successful PSU-UNIBA engagement underscores both institutionsβ shared commitment to advancing academic excellence, and international cooperation, aligning with the visionary leadership of PSU President Dr. Elbert M. Galas in fostering global partnerships and advancing higher education.
