The ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ง ๐๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฆ (๐๐๐-๐๐๐) spearheaded the annual conduct of its extension activity for persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ.
The Christmas Gift Giving Extension Activity, now in its third year, is dubbed โTo PDLs with Loveโ as it is meant to share blessings from the OUS faculty and students for the inmates who cannot be with their families because of their situation.
๐๐๐ ๐๐ฑ๐๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ said one of the four-fold functions of PSU is Extension which aims to help the community in every way possible.
Some 269 PDLs benefited from the said activity as they received grocery packages, hygiene kits and food packs.
The activity was made possible through the support of the ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ง led by ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง โ๐๐จ๐ง-๐๐จ๐งโ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐๐จ ๐๐๐, the Pangasinan Provincial Jail led by ๐๐๐ญ๐๐จ๐ฅ. ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ฒ and the PSU Administration led by ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐. ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ.
