The spirit of international camaraderie took center stage as the Global Learning Outreach Week (GLOW) 2026 officially commenced on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kuala Pilah Campus in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

Representing Pangasinan State University is a delegation of nine distinguished faculty members and student representatives who joined participants from across the region for a ceremony that celebrated academic synergy and cultural diversity.

The event was hosted by the Academy of Language Studies, marking the start of a four-day journey focused on global learning and outreach.
The opening ceremony set the mood for the week’s activities, featuring traditional Malaysian cultural performances and keynote addresses that emphasized the importance of cross-border academic exchange.

This participation is a direct reflection of PSU’s mission championed by University President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, and Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, Vice President for Local and International Affairs, to transform PSU into a globally competitive institution.

For PSU delegates, led by Dr. Marie Claire Briones and Dr. Jennylyn V. Oboza, the event served as an official welcome to the Malaysian academic landscape. Our student ambassadors from the Lingayen, Alaminos, Asingan, San Carlos, and Bayambang campuses stood proud, ready to showcase the excellence of the Filipino student body in the upcoming International Academic Colloquium and Cultural Festival.

PSU ensures its faculty and students through these initiatives to be a competitive spectator in the global stage and active contributors to international academic progress.
