In September 2023, Pangasinan State University’s Sta. Maria Campus marked the Civil Service Anniversary with a tree planting activity, showing its commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 15: “Life on Land.”
By planting trees, the PSU Sta. Maria community actively contributed to ecosystem restoration, biodiversity conservation, and the fight against land degradation.
This initiative aimed to enrich local habitats, promote soil health, and support the region’s flora and fauna. Beyond the immediate environmental benefits, the activity encouraged participants to reflect on their role in preserving natural landscapes for future generations.
