An additional forty (40) non-teaching personnel with plantilla items took their oath as official members of Pangasinan State University, March 11, 2025.
The said personnel are newly hired and newly promoted staff in the university and part of the fourth batch of the Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards (ROSS) for SUCs hiring.
𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬, presided over the oath taking ceremony and shared important characteristics a PSUnian must possess.
Dr. Galas mentioned the importance of loyalty, commitment, passion and the practice of harmonious relationship in the workplace.

𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂. 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, welcomed the attendees at the Dr. Teleforo N. Boquiren Convention Hall, PSU Lingayen, and inculcated the symbols of lion, alon [wave], and asin [salt] which are among PSUnians’ attributes.
PSU’s Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) headed by its 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐑𝐌𝐃 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐆. 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐝𝐞𝐦, spearheaded the said event and encouraged everyone to lead with purpose and serve with passion along with the Learning and Development Unit led by its 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐲𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐥 𝐅. 𝐑𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞.
The said oath taking ceremony featured an orientation program and a training proper in the afternoon to equip the newly hired PSUnians with necessary understanding of the university’s processes.
𝐌𝐬. 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐇. 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 gave an impressive walkthrough of PSU’s background and hallmarks and Ms. Shiela Marie Malicdem provided a comprehensive discussion on personnel standards polices and procedures.
𝐌𝐬. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐋. 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐜, 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐈 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐑𝐌𝐃𝐎, discussed structurally the compensation and other benefits of the new members of the institution’s backbone.
Ms. Ragusante rendered a closing remarks in the afternoon. Also in attendance are other 𝐇𝐑𝐌𝐃𝐎’𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐃. 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐆. 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐍𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐢 𝐕. 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐚.
