𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 students received scholarship grants under the 𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on November 20, 2024.

A total of twenty (20) qualified PSU students included in the eighty (80) scholarship grantees among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the province gathered at the Ceremonial Hall of the Urduja House at the Capitol Compound for the awarding ceremony.

𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬 personally attended the said event and wholeheartedly thanked the Foundation led by the 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐲𝐮𝐤-𝐇𝐨 and 𝐋𝐒𝐅 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠 through the Provincial Government of Pangasinan.

“𝐴𝑠 𝐼 𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡 𝑃𝑆𝑈 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑠 𝑚𝑦 𝑜𝑤𝑛 𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑐𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑚𝑒, 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑑𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑙𝑦 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑏𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑃𝑆𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑎𝑛𝑠. 𝐴𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟, 𝐼 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑏𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑎 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑟𝑢𝑖𝑡𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑓𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒,” Dr. Galas shared.

To date, the Lotte Scholarship Foundation and Pangasinan State university signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in March this year, which formally facilitated the provision of scholarships to deserving PSU students.

The 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 led by 𝐆𝐨𝐯. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 ‘𝐌𝐨𝐧-𝐌𝐨𝐧’ 𝐕. 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐈𝐈𝐈, spearheaded the ceremonial awarding of Lotte Scholarship participated in by the school beneficiaries – 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 (𝐁𝐂𝐂), 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 (𝐏𝐏𝐂), 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐏𝐒𝐔) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 (𝐔𝐄𝐏).

Together with Dr. Galas, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐓. 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨, also took part in the said ceremony together with PSU students from the nine campuses who qualified for the said scholarship program.

The student scholars will receive a financial aid amounting to 450 US dollars covering the academic year 2024-2025.
