The Pangasinan State University, through the Center for Statistics and Computing Sciences, joined in celebrating the 33rd National Statistics Month with the theme “Boosting the Country’s Recovery with Informed Decisions, Better Policies” held at the Dr. Telesforo N. Boquiren Convention Hall.

The event was organized by the Philippine Statistical System and spearheaded by the Philippine Statistics Authority.

Representatives from the nine campuses showcased their skills and capabilities as they took part in various contests such as essay writing, poster-slogan making, oratorical, and statistics quiz.

The event kickstarted with a warm welcome by the Head of the Center for Statistics and Computing Sciences Mr. Bobby F. Roaring. This was followed by an inspirational message from the Director for Research and Development Dr. Larry A. Santos.

Statement of Purpose was clearly delivered Ms. Andhee M. Jacobe of Urdaneta City Campus while the participants were introduced by the Lingayen Campus.

University officials and employees from each campus also participated in the event and led in cheering and supporting their players.

Concluding the event was the announcement of winners, who will then be moving forward in representing the university at the Provincial Level.

Undoubtedly, Pangasinan State University continues to produce young professionals who can be competitive in the national and international levels.
