𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙅𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙧𝙤 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙤 is the latest recipient of Pangasinan State University’s institutionalized motivational awards known as Board Topnotchers Awards.
Marcelo landed Top 9 in the September 2024 Social Workers Licensure Examination
University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas personally handed the check amounting to eighty thousand pesos (P80,000) to Marcelo who came with her parents.
President Galas thanked the topnotcher for bringing honor and pride to the University and stressed that PSU is always in support of the endeavors of its students and alumni.
In response, Marcelo expressed gratitude to PSU for the cash incentive that would greatly help her family and for the employment push. She now works at the Philippine Coconut Authority -Region I.
The awarding of monetary incentives, aims to instill inspiration to students and faculty members of board programs to excel academically and to do their best in preparing for the licensure examinations.
