Student concerns raised during President’s Hour moved from open dialogue to institutional action as campus and university officials convened for a Campus Management Review, where operational performance, audit findings, and improvement priorities were assessed in a discussion on accountability and continuous improvement at PSU Infanta Campus, April 27, 2026.

Led by President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, with Vice President for Quality Assurance Dr. Celeste T. Mercado, Vice President for Research, Extension and Innovation Dr. Razeale Resultay, Director for International Accreditation Dr. Randy Joy M. Ventatyen, and Director for Monitoring and Evaluation Dr. David Livingstone T. Ramos, the review gathered campus administrators and unit heads for a discussion on operational performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

President Galas emphasized that audits are not endpoints of compliance but tools for refinement, while Dr. Mercado shares that quality assurance must be lived through systems, certifications and accreditation will always follow.

The session served as a working review of systems, processes, and institutional readiness. Audit findings became points for reflection and action, covering academic processes, service delivery, documentation systems, and operational controls all reinforcing PSU’s culture of evidence-based management.

Campus Executive Director Dr. Ramil Dacal and campus officials also presented responses and improvement measures already underway, situating audit observations within the campus context.

With technical guidance from the Quality Assurance Office and executive direction from university top management, the review became a collaborative exercise in moving from compliance to continuous excellence.

Held on the heels of President’s Hour, the management review reinforced that stakeholder dialogue is matched by disciplined follow-through.
