Pangasinan State University shared best practices on Research, Extension and Innovation Division and the office of Production and Auxiliary Services with the University of Rizal System (URS).
The said meeting of minds was held at the Audio-Visual Room of PSU Lingayen Campus, July 24, 2024.
PSU team was led by 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬, who physically attended the meeting and welcomed the URS delegation headed by 𝐔𝐑𝐒 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐌. 𝐑𝐢𝐨.

Representing Vice President for REI, Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, was the Director for Innovation Support Office, Dr. Jeff G. Pereyras.
Dr. Armando D. Junio, Director for Extension Services shared the best practices in the division together with the Dr. Narciso F. Castro, the Director for Production and Auxiliary Services Office.
Research centerheads, Dr. Rhowell Dellosa (Science, Technology, Engineering and Environment), Dr. Irene De Vera (Health Environment, Disaster and Risk) and Dr. Jun S. Camara (History, Culture, Arts and Innovative Education) also shared inputs during the event.
The Director for Public Relations and Information Office (PRIO), Asst. Prof. Venus May H. Sarmiento, served as a moderator in the open forum.
URS Vice President Dr. Marites M. Rio thanked the university for its openness to partnership and comprehensive sharing in the said meeting minds.

Dr. Rio even anchored the perspective of development in the academe just like ASIN or salt, A for admirable, S for Sustainability, I for Innovation and N for Novelty in advancing approaches.
The URS delegation also paid a courtesy to the President of Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) and current President of Batangas State University, Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, during his visit in the university along with Dr. Galas.
